He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Bankston and Emma Jean Moore Bankston; and his siblings, Judy Bankston, Janice Sheetz, Greg Bankston, Ricky Bankston, Eddie Bankston and Michael Bankston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deloris Butcher (Kody), Janice Carter (Nathan) and Nicole Jones; and his brother Jerry Bankston (Nancy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
