He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilbert Garner and Alga Sue Faulk Garner; his wife Elizabeth Hayes Garner; and his siblings, Sarah Marshall and Cullen Garner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea G. McLendon (Terrance) of Ariton and Renee Garner of Ariton; his siblings, Ann Phillips and Thomas Garner (AnnDora) of Ozark; and his grandchildren, Libbi McLendon Mitchell (Justin) and Hannah Beckworth. He is also survived by his family as a loving father, grandfather, and uncle.
