She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemit Evans and Willie Gladys Shehane; and her grandson Trent McLendon. She is survived by: her children, Vivian Hagler (Harold Hagler), Sergeant First Class, Jeannie Parrish (Bobby), New Brockton, Beth McConvery and Richard McLendon (Susie); her siblings, Mary Nell Wright (Wicksburg) and Carl Phillips (Jan); and her grandchildren, Brian Hagler (Lacey), Derrick Hagler, Jeremy Hagler (Bobbi), Laura Hagler, Brett Parrish, Ben Parrish, Jessica Parrish, Taylor McConvery (Hannah), Tanner McConvery (Meg), Hannah McGuire (Heath), Lily Long (Trent), Braxon McLendon and Derek Wyrick (Darlyn). She is also survived by twenty three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (3336 Co Rd 23, Ariton, AL 36311).
