He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Wentfred and Annie Elizabeth Butts; and his brothers, Gerald Douglas Butts and Ernest Keith Butts. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Michelle Harris Butts; his children, Randi Sanders (Kenny), Taylor Atkins (Marc) and Allen Bender; his siblings, Tena Jordan, Venty Wentfred Butts (Pansy) and Nathan Lamar Butts (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Timothy, Quinton, Aaliyah, Spencer, Hunter, Hailey and Matthew.
