It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Miller Barfield of Ashford, Alabama, who passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Frances Miller (Lynn); and her brother Rufus Alan Miller. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Barfield of Ashford; her children, Heather Lynn Barfield of Ashford, Kevin Barfield (Sarah) of Elko, GA and Brian Thomas Barfield of Ashford; her granddaughters, Briana Barfield Wallace (Tyler) of Dothan and Lily Caroline Barfield of Elko, GA; her siblings, William Thomas Miller (Connie) of Bettendorf, IA, Charles "Bob" Robert Miller of Ashford and Leneve Miller McCord of Ashford; and her sisters-in-law, Phoebe Fowler of Dothan and Phyllis Skeen of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and Carole's extended family.
