With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Carol Lindsey of Ashland, Alabama, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Bass and Era Mae Bass (Street); her husband Alvin Joe Lindsey; her sister Alice Jean Hann; and her grandmother Era Street.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valarie Rhedrick Stowes and Carla Dunn; her grandchildren, Chelsey Stowes and Ayanna Dunn; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Caldwell and Beverly Robinson. She is also survived by nieces, great-nieces and nephew and great-nephews.
