We announce the death of Fran Farmer of Ashland, Alabama, born in Clay, Alabama, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Finch and Lavada Finch; and her nephew Hugh Howard Clifton. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Farmer; her son David Puckett; and her siblings, Vivian Rogers (Jackie), Sue Harris, Frankie Finch, Billy Finch, Dwayne Finch and Gary Finch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benefield Funeral Home (89076 AL-9, Lineville, AL 36266). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
