He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Seabron, Ruth Childers, Shell and Bertie Whaley. He is survived by: his parents, Wendell McLain and Judi McLain; his children, Krys Whaley Lewallen (Tyler) of Kennon Warren, Whaley Jr. (Ashley Anne), Kal Whaley and Kace Whaley; his grandchildren, Murphy Whaley, Noah Lewallen and Ansley Claire Whaley; and his siblings, Kim McLain Hawthorne, Wendi McLain and Scott Whaley. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles; and his nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcome; however, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors of Alabama in honor of Kennon's 15 years of dedicated service to the Alabama National Guard.
