He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Jean Mattox; his parents, Will Mattox and Connie Mattox; and his siblings, Olin, Gene, Drexel, Horace, Ledford, David, Inez Tomlin and Dr. Faye Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Owen (Buzz) of Goodrich, MI, Debbie Willis (Phillip) of Columbiana and Jonathan C. "Chip" Mattox (Denise) of Ashland. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
