Nona leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nona’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nona will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Nolan Browning and Ottie Lee Hendon Browning; and her daughter Angela Faye Baird. She is survived by: her children, Tony Russell Baird of Columbus, GA, Terry Ray Baird (Sandy) of Deatsville, William Jamie East (Leah Grace) of Roanoke and Tammy Lee Suggs (Sam) of Ashland; and her sister-in-law Virginia Browning of Talladega. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home-Ashland (85499 AL-9, Ashland, AL 36251).
