He was predeceased by: his parents, George Marbutt and Annie Marbutt (Evans); his former wife Clara Marbutt; and his brother Hudon Marbutt. He is survived by: his wife Metra Marbutt; his son Barry Marbutt (Mandy); his granddaughter Anna Porter (Landon); and his great grandchildren, Nola Rae Porter and Ellis Porter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
