He is survived by: his sister Deborah Gardner (Gene); his close friend Delores Hardy; and his sons, Robert "Robbie" Royster (Nicole), Chris Royster (Kristin), Steven and Scottie Royster. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
