She was predeceased by: her parents, Maclin Sloss Kennemer and Mary Katherine Chambers Kennemer; her former husband Earl Erwin; her husband William R. Gordon; and her brothers, Mac Kennemer, Jimmy Kennemer, Bobby Kennemer, Billy Kennemer and Al Kennemer.
She is survived by: her sons, William R. Gordon, Jr. of Hoover, Thomas H. Gordon (Kerri) of Athens and James W. Gordon (Deanna) of Athens; her grandchildren, Amy, Trey, Justin, Emily, Jenna and Sophie; and her sister Kay Kennemer Thompson of Huntsville. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
