She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Luther Humphries and Elizabeth Humphries; and her husband Royce Burt. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Burt of Elkmont, AL and Todd Burt of Madison, AL.; her grandchildren, Haley McClusky (Dustin) and Whitney Braswell Cade (T. J.); and her great grandchild Ryleigh McCluskey.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:50 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the McConnell Memorial Chapel (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613).
