She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Thomas Swanner and Lula Clarice Vinson Swanner; her husband James Rickman; and her siblings, Catherine King, Eldean Phillips, Leroy Swanner and Gilbert Swanner.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Swanner; her children, Angela Emerson, Christal Emerson and Brent Emerson (Lindsey); and her grandchildren, Kristin Pylant (Randall), Heather Miles (Nick), Hope Brady, Skylar Brady (Rebekah), Drake Collins, Dakota Holt (Brianna), Kylie Emerson and Mya Emerson. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
