She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Swanner and Bessie Pressnell Swanner; her husband James Nolan Hardage, Sr.; her grandchild Jamie Meyer; and her brother Billy Swanner.
She is survived by: her children, James N. "Jim" Hardage, Jr., Kim Hagar (Ken) and Tammy Williams (Fred Sr.); her grandchildren, Joel Meyer (Maggie), Shane Meyer (Kayla), Fred Williams, Jr. (Sara), Marlina Williams, Amanda Williams, Madison Hardage, Abigail Hardage and Bailley Hardage; and her great grandchildren, Avery Meyer, Wyatt Meyer and Fred Williams III.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Limestone Memorial Gardens (1987 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either an Alzheimer or Breast Cancer fund of your choice.
