She was predeceased by: her husband Huston Taylor; her parents, Charles H. Lindsay II and Margaret Hammons Lindsay; and her brothers, Charles H. Lindsay III (Bobby) and Larry Eugene Lindsay.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Downs (Robin) and Rita White (Rodney); her grandsons, Tayor Yelverton, Jesse Downs (Gracie) and Zachary White (Riley Adams); and her caregiver Norma Stewart. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Friendship Church (16479 Lucas Ferry Rd, Athens, AL 35611). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Athens City Cemetery (598 Washington St E, Athens, AL 35611).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to North Alabama Hospice at 408 2nd Ave. NW, Cullman, AL 35055.
