He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cagle and Burnice Cagle (Smith); his son Jeffery Cagle; and his sister Faye Misenhelder. He is survived by: his wife Ila Cagle; his son Bill Cagle, Jr. (Carol); and his sister Wanda Robinson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gatlin Cemetery (28574 State Line Rd, Ardmore, AL 35739).
