He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Adams and Louise Adams; his siblings, Charles Adams, Betty Miller, Greney Adams, Horace Dwayne Adams, Dezzie Stewart and Joe Adams; Rick Dawes.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Barksdale Adams; his children, Debbie Dawes, Angela Black (Randy), Jimmy Adams (LuAnn) and Gena Adams; his grandsons, Seth, Spencer Dawes and Michael Adams; and his sisters, Maggie Miller and Linda Parsons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
