He was predeceased by: his parents, AC Brown and Mary Brown; his siblings, Larry Brown and Linda Faye Brown; and his son-in-law Jeffery Stewart.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy Brown; his children, Kenneth Brown (Ami), Anthony Townson, Lee Townson, Norma Stewart, Jan Colwell (Glenn), Bobbie Carter, Patty Hill, Pamela Chalisani (Ragesh) and Brandi Ricks (Kyle); his sister Dorothy Mitchell; his close friends, Larry and Jackie Berryhill; and his pet Popper. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
