He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Knox and Katherine Vincent Knox Cobb; his stepfather Warren "Tom" Cobb; his brother Walter "Douglas" Knox; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Knox, Dauphene Knox, J. E. Mitchell and Danny Workman.
He is survived by: his close friend Carolyn Virginia Lowery Knox; his children, Panda Jo Knox, Jason "Keith" Knox (Carmen) and Justin "Brent" Knox (Christian Marlene); his grandchildren, Sara "Danza" Locke, Lydia Wagner Lester (Michael), Gabby Knox, Ethan Knox, Dylan Knox, Preslie Knox, Callie Knox and Beaux Knox; his great grandchildren, Vanna Locke, Knox Reifers, Eden "Rose" Reifers and Everleigh Rae Lester; and his siblings, Billy Knox, John Knox (Carol), Dean Knox Mitchell and Martha Cobb Workman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
