Though Charles Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray William and Maxine Kellogg. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Kellogg; his children, Charles R. Kellogg, Jr., Richard Welch and Michelle Steadman; and his siblings, Donald Kellogg of Texas and Janie Cleary of Arizona. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (17175 Lucas Ferry Rd, Athens, AL 35611).
