She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lawrence and Mary Shaw Lawrence; her son Leroy Lewis Jr.; and her grandson Joseph Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Michael Layton Hardy; her son Leonard J. Lewis; her stepsons, Michael Scott Hardy, Matthew Ray Hardy and Patrick Wayne Hardy; and her siblings, Cathy Sutherland, Gussie Lawrence, Buddy Lawrence and Leonard "Jake" Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
