She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Daniel Rucker and Grace Irene Fordyce Rucker; her parents-in-law, Charles and Mabel Sample; and her brother-in-law David Sample.

She is survived by: her daughter Caren Elizabeth Sample; her husband Charles; her child Charlie (Kaylene); her grandson Danny; her sisters, Jeannie Heneger (Dwayne) and Sue Patterson (Norm); and her sister-in-law Laura Inman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Cindy's memory to your church's missions ministry or to Hospice of Limestone County.
