He is survived by: his children, Dennis Taylor of Athens and Amanda Townsend of Athens; and his siblings, Roger Taylor of Pell City, Vickie Persell of Athens, Judy Bumpus of Hartselle and Betty Jo Reeves of Rogersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
