She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Thomas and Eveline Thomas; and her siblings, David Thomas and Jane Reynolds. She is survived by: her husband James Silas; her children, Michael Silas (Tracy), Deborah Terry (Steve) and Denise Silas (Margie); her siblings, Kenneth, Robert Thomas, Joyce Hubbard, Robbie Sanders and June Sanders; her grandchildren, Lauren Brunson (Drew), Ashton Anders (Charlie) and Nathaniel Silas; and her great grandchildren, Isaac James Brunson, Emily Elizabeth Brunson and Oakley Rae Anders. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
