She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Tollison and Erma Ashmore Tollison; her husband Kenneth Stanford; and her brothers, Harold, John and Robert Tollison.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Reed Stanford and Patti Stanford Cates; her granddaughter Michaela Cates; and her great grandchild Aiden Nugent. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Cherry Grove Baptist Church (6530 Cherry Grove Rd, Athens, AL 35614). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to St. Jude or Hospice of Limestone County in her memory.
