We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2025, at the age of 75, Eddie Simmons of Athens, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Simmons and Mevarene Simmons (Thornton); and his sisters, Debra Simmons, Charlene Schrimsher and Rita Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Simmons; his children, Lesley Hyatt (Tommy) and Chad Simmons (Wanda); his grandchildren, Madey Simmons, Clay Hyatt and Lauren Simmons; and his sister Rhonda Moore (Larry).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
