It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Stegall of Athens, Alabama, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James M. Stegall and Maxine Stegall; and his wife Jeanette Stegall. He is survived by : his children, James Stegall and Sherry Olive; his son-in-law Scott Cecil; his granddaughters, Savannah Cuzzort and Samantha Thornton; and his friend Hal Jones (Sally). He is also survived by his nieces, cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
