It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Dawn Geary of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Juanita Lear Oldham. She is survived by: her husband Brian Christopher Geary; and her siblings, Tommy Melton (Debbie) of Graham, KY, Teresa Schroader (Bill) of Hartford, KY, Anita Carter (Larry) of Glasgow, KY, Lois Ford (Eli) of Bruceton, TN, Robbie Melton (Kelly) of Greenville, KY, Jack Melton (Leslie) of Bremen, KY and Bobby Oldham (Robin) of Bremen, KY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Russell Hill Cancer Foundation, Blackburn Road Baptist Church, of Athens, AL, or Cherry Hill Missionary Baptist Church, of Central City, KY.
