She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Sandlin; her brother Ellis Wayne Ramsey; and her parents, Walter Ramsey and Reba Ramsey. She is survived by: her sister Marietta Saavedra; and her children, Marc Sandlin (Nancy), Denise Smith, Keith Sandlin (Carol) and Eric Sandlin. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home (322 US-31, Athens, AL 35611). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Limestone Memorial Gardens (1987 US-31, Athens, AL 35611).
