She was predeceased by: her parents, Nell McGuire and Ronia Smith McGuire; her husband Cyrus "Junior" Pepper; her son-in-law Alfred Kirby; and her siblings, Edward, Walter, Billy McGuire and Lillian Faulk.

She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Diane Kirby.
