She is survived by: her children, Steve Martin (Gail), Teresa Welch and Amy Martin Benton; her grandchildren, Jacob Benton, Logan Martin, Tabitha Burnette (Jeremy), Misty Black, Joe Morris, Brandon Cribbs, Meghan Jones and Sasha Kratz (Shawn); and her great grandchildren, Alex, Tristan, Caleb, Phoenix and Atreyu.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McConnell Funeral Home (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the McConnell Memorial Chapel (1200 E Forrest St, Athens, AL 35613).
