He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Allfrey and Mildred Allfrey; and his siblings, Dyral Allfrey, Shirley Smith and June Booth.

He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Bates (Steve) and Leigh Nave (Chris); his brother Dwain Allfrey (Barbara); his grandchildren, Evan Brock (Brianna), Ruth Ann Bates, Stephanie Bates, Will Henry Brock, Sam Brock and Ashley Brazeal; and his great grandchildren, Kate and Adalynn Brazeal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
