She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Carlos Blackwell, Sr. and Loretta Vinson Blackwell; her sister Thelma Copeland; her brother-in-law Ralph; and her brothers, Samuel Blackwell, Jr. and James Edward Blackwell.
She is survived by: her brother Danny Blackwell (Joyce); her sister-in-law Linda Blackwell; her nephew Billy Blackwell; and her nieces, Tammy Smith and Karen Weaver.
