With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Sullivan Holland of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellsworth Sullivan and Annie Laura Bridges Sullivan; her husband Richard Holland (Dick); and her siblings, Clyde Sullivan, John Raymond Sullivan, Frank Sullivan, Bill Sullivan, Roy Sullivan, Eugene Sullivan, Katherine Wallace, Roxie Pogue and Ruth James.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Holland Thomas (David); her granddaughters, Laura Thomas Yau (Doug) and Amanda Thomas Killough (Patrick); her great grandchild Isaac Yau of Charlotte, NC; her daughter Jill Holland Widner; her grandson Dale Greer of Athens; her great grandchild Victoria Galloway of Knightdale, NC; and her daughter Judi Holland of Muscle Shoals, AL.. She is also survived by great mother to her 3 daughters.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
