He was predeceased by : his stepson Tommy Toone, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Julie Bain; his daughter Paula Gohier (John); his daughter-in-law Connie Elrod; his grandchildren, Tommy Toone, Jr., Malia Gohier and Adrian Gohier; and his great grandchild Raelyn Toone.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Limestone County Sheriff's Fund.
