It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Strain of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Thomas Strain and Betty Sue Griffis Strain; his wife Peggy; his sons, Steven Strain (Barbara), Harold Strain and Charles Strain (Diana); his stepchildren, Ben Baldwin (Renee) and Rena Gilbert (Paul); and his grandchildren, Ian, Victoria, Meredith, Bonnie and Will. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
