It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Eldridge Gooch of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Spencer Gooch and Clara Gooch (Skeets); and his wife Cecilia Ann Moore Gooch. He is survived by : his daughter Kristi Harmon (Todd); his siblings, Vicki Craig (Bobby) and Michael Gooch (Pasty); his granddaughters, ClaraBeth Harmon and Lillian Harmon; and his nephews, Brian Craig, Bradley Craig and Zachary Gooch.
