He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Saylor and Nona Mae Whisenant; and his brother Russell Saylor. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vann Saylor; his stepchildren, Ryan Vann and Michelle Vann Hammons (Lee); his grandchildren, Hanna Hammons, Zoe Green, Jozie Vann, Ziggy Vann, Ramzey Vann, Suzette Vann, Ezra Vann and Zeno Vann; and his brothers, Joe Saylor (Janice) and Jerry Whisenant (Jean).
Visitation was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel (1340 N Main St, Arab, AL 35016). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to Mt. Oak/Ruth Cemetery Fund at 1194 Saylor Gap Road, Arab, AL 35016.
