He is survived by: his son Mark Wales (Tonya); his granddaughter Megan Wales; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin Lawrence (Shelia), James Lawrence (Jennifer), Anthony Lawrence (Kathy), Donna Beasley (Tommy) and Daphney Beasley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
