It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Nathaniel Aldridge of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gobert Aldridge and Mary Self Aldridge; his sister Doris A. Yancey (Roger Yancey); and his brother-in-law David Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Martha Higginbotham Aldridge; his children, Thad Aldridge of Millbrook, AL, Jake Aldridge of Radcliff, KY, Lynn Aldridge of Gulf Shores, AL and Robin Lomenick (Van) of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Emma Lomenick of Chattanooga, TN, Lily Lomenick of Murfreesboro, TN and River Rose of Gulf Shores, AL; his mother-in-law Exie Higginbotham; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Stephenson (Oscar) of Birmingham, AL, Jean Ann Woods (Sparky) and N. C.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
