With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Whitfield of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Robertson and Irene Clinard; her former husband Col. Marcus Whitfield; and her siblings, Villard Robertson, Fred Robertson Jr. of Doug Robertson, Eardie Robertson, Helen Brown and Joan Kelley.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alma Kieff Lane, Betty Turner, Ann Russell and Mary Bassham; her spouse Rodell Thacker; and her son Gary Rodell Thacker. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
