She was predeceased by: her parents, Orin Lester Deakins and Rilla Sarah Mosher Deakins; and her siblings, Larry Deakins and Betty Adams. She is survived by: her children, David Brian Thornton (Ruth) and Cheri Lynn Thornton-Conner (Donald); her grandchildren, Christopher Jason Pate (Tanya), Bryan Pate (Danielle), Angela Romans (Cory) and Melissa Thornton (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Lily, Emma, Lucas, Mya and Alayna Pate; and her brother Melvin Deakins (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
