We announce the death of Jerry Gulley of Athens, Alabama, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Jerry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon Gulley and Florence Powers Gulley; his wife Rachel Boyd Gulley; his daughter Rhonda Ridinger; and his siblings, Wanda, Anna and Junior Gullett.
He is survived by: his children, Shawn Gulley (Starla), Jerry Neal Gulley, Bobby Pylant (Sheila), Danny Pylant, Rocky Pylant, Laura McMinn and Wanda Gonzales; and his sister Betty Jo McGraw. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
