He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulys D. Gatlin and Mary Guthrie Gatlin; and his brother David Gatlin. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gatlin; his daughters, Kathy Coffey (Greg) and Kristy Knight (John); his grandchildren, Paizley Peebles (Zachary) and Tyde Coffey; and his sister Sue Lewis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
