He was predeceased by: his parents, George Panks and Mary Panks; his wife Madelyn Panks; and his brother David Panks. He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Olson of Athens, Kenneth Panks (Kristina) of Sheffield and Kristen Panks of Athens; his grandchildren, Alexandra Sockwell (Zander), Austin Panks and Jessa Sharkey (Alex); and his great grandchildren, Jaxton Sockwell, Jett Sockwell, Thomas Boedecker and Lucy-Madelyn Boedecker.
