We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2025, Jocelyn Dee Mitchell (Athens, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerl David Rottgen and Ruby Carolyn Rottgen. She is survived by: her husband Brian K. Mitchell; her children, Natausha Rae Charnell and Logan McDaniel (Hannahlise); her grandchildren, Stephen Motsinger, London Charnell and Hazel McDaniel; and her siblings, Kindra Esterline (Tim), Dirk Rottgen (Sherri) and Kiel Rottgen (Prudencia). She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (1700 Carridale St SW, Decatur, AL 35601). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1700 Carridale St SW, Decatur, AL 35601).
