It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John David Adams (Athens, Alabama), born in Elkmont, Alabama, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carter and Mattie Davis Adams; his wife Marcia Adams; his children, June Jordan (Rene), Brady Adams, Jamie Adams and David Shelton; his grandchildren, Dennis Adams, James Lowery (Emily), Anna Nichols (Casey) and Kayla Busick (Sean); his great grandchildren, Gatsby Busick and Rustin Nichols; his sister Polly Crabtree; his close friend Ray Wales; and his siblings, Harold Adams, Reed Adams, Sara Clem, Shirley Burkhardt and Cordelia Robinson. He was also cherished by many friends and family.
