He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Scroggins and Mary Sue Furline Scroggins; and his sister Joyce Maxwell. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Newman (Steven) of Griffin, GA; and his siblings, Gary Scroggins (Sharon) and Linda Motley.
